POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a hands-on Regional Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities for multiple operating companies. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys owning the books, working through the details, and partnering directly with operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

You will be responsible for the month-end close and ongoing accounting activities for a portfolio of assigned companies, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement review, variance analysis, and support for budgeting, forecasting, and audits.

This position can be structured at either the Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant level, depending on experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial Close

Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process for assigned companies.
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclasses, and other adjusting entries.
Maintain accurate general ledger activity and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Review financial results for completeness and accuracy prior to finalizing the close.

Reconciliations & Financial Analysis

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies.
Review income statements and balance sheets for unusual activity, trends, and potential errors.
Investigate variances and work with appropriate teams to identify and correct root causes.
Help ensure accounting records remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready.

Multi-Company Accounting

Serve as the primary accounting contact for a portfolio of assigned operating companies.
Coordinate with local and regional teams to obtain accounting information and resolve outstanding items.
Manage multiple company closes and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Develop a strong understanding of the operations and financial drivers of the companies you support.

Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare and distribute recurring financial reports.
Provide variance analysis and explanations of significant financial results.
Support management discussion and analysis by helping explain the key drivers behind monthly performance.
Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning activities in partnership with FP&A and operations.

Controls, Audit & Process Improvement

Maintain appropriate documentation and follow established internal controls.
Support internal and external audit requests.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and close efficiency.
Assist with the development and standardization of accounting procedures across multiple companies.
Support accounting system and reporting enhancements as the organization continues to grow.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The AR & Collections Manager is responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable function and overseeing the complete order-to-cash process. This role focuses on strengthening billing and collections processes, improving cash flow, reducing delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and developing a high-performing Accounts Receivable team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable team.

Monitor aging reports and support collection activities.
Lead collection efforts for delinquent and escalated accounts.
Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve customer disputes, short payments, and deductions.
Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
Manage bad debt reserves and account write-offs in accordance with company policy.
Coordinate legal collection matters, bankruptcies, judgments, and third-party collection agencies.
Collaborate with Sales & Use Tax to ensure accurate invoicing.
Develop and report Accounts Receivable KPIs including DSO, collection effectiveness, past-due percentages, and cash forecasts.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Minimum of seven years of progressive Accounts Receivable and Collections experience required.
Minimum of three years of supervisory experience required.
Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, credit management, and financial controls.
Working knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to collections.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tax Manager will lead multiple client engagements, oversee compliance and planning across individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation, and play an active role in mentoring team members. This role is ideal for a proven professional with strong technical tax expertise and management skills who wants to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment while contributing to the continued growth of the firmâs tax practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
Supervise, review, and sign off on complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships.
Mentor and develop junior professionals, providing both technical and professional guidance.
Conduct research and planning projects, delivering solutions to client tax issues.
Support practice development efforts and contribute to the firmâs reputation for excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

CPA designation (required).
Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in public accounting.
Strong technical knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage people and multiple projects effectively.
High level of professionalism, accountability, and interpersonal skills.
Relationship management and practice development experience.
