ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This role supports a diverse client base and is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while managing day-to-day accounting functions with accuracy and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
Prepare journal entries
Analyze financial statements
Support the monthly close process
Participate in general accounting projects as assigned
Manage day-to-day accounting functions
Interact with multiple staff members and clients
Provide high-quality customer service to clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Ability to identify issues and seek guidance when needed
Strong attention to detail
Dependable and team-oriented mindset
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with QuickBooks
Experience with POS systems such as Toast or Square
Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger activities, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
