Job Description
SUMMARY
A large Houston Healthcare organization is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join their team for a yearlong assignment with a strong option to be extended. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and solutions to support the organizations business processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and forms.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and applications using web services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Utilize data import techniques and processes, specifically related to Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Procurement modules.
• Write clean, efficient, and well documented coding using JavaScript, SQL, Angular, REST, XML and other relevant technologies.
• Work closely with senior developers to implement best practices and adhere to coding standards.
• Assist in the configuration and administration of ServiceNow platform.
• Participate in the evaluation and adoption of ServiceNow features and functionalities.
• Collaborate with end-users to provide support, resolve issues, and enhance existing applications.
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to development activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Angular, REST, and XML and experience with data imports, particularly related to CMDB.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- NOTE This is a 40 hour a week contract opportunity onsite (not remote or hybrid)
