This client is a large international public company that provides products and services to the energy industry. The company has fantastic benefits and works a hybrid schedule – 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.
The Division Senior Tax Manager will report to the Division Tax Director and will develop and manage plans for strategic tax projects for the business segment, advise on tax implications of cross-border contracts to optimize worldwide tax efficiency and mitigate tax exposures, carry out quarterly FIN48, FAS5 exposure analysis, and provide practical day to day operational tax guidance.

Responsibilities
- Advise on tax implications of cross-border contracts
- Perform tax risk assessments to optimize worldwide tax efficiency and mitigate tax exposures
- Carry out quarterly FIN48, FAS5 exposure analysis
- Implement, monitor, and help to develop transfer pricing policies
- Provide practical day-to-day operating guidance
- Work closely with operations, sales, finance, HR, and accounting departments
- Interact with third-party tax advisors
- Assist with projects related to restructuring and acquisition implementation
- Perform tax research and draft technical memos
- This role does not perform tax preparation/compliance activities
Requirements
- B.S. in accounting or finance required, and Advanced Degree in Accounting / Taxation / Law preferred
- CPA or JD preferred
- 6+ years of experience in Big 4 and/or large multinational public company
- Experience with cross-border tax issues including permanent establishment, tax treaties, and WHT
