SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for working with the Finance Business Analysts to design, configure, test and deploy enhancements, break-fix, and project work initiatives to SAP Finance functionality across Finance Controlling (FI/CO) including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Projects (PS) & Investments Management (IM), Treasury (TR), Financial Integration with Sales & Distribution (SD), Supply Chain (MM), technical and business understanding of Interfaces to external systems for Budget, Planning and Consolidations (Hyperion, Blackline, Exchange rates, etc.),
DESCRIPTIONS:
Serve as a technical (primary) and functional (secondary) expert with regards to the financial modules listed within the summary section of job description.
Apply ’s technical design, configuration, development, testing, documentation and architecture standards and principles.
Follow ’s IT processes.
Identify opportunities for improvement within the business process, system and integration areas: Participate and facilitate in planning sessions / workshops; Participate in cross technology process improvement initiatives.
Jointly with the Business Analysts and Manager Integration, develop a conceptual solution for business requirements.
Research if the solution currently exists within .
Analyze the impact of the proposed solution on the application architecture and company codes.
Develop and present conceptual alternatives.
Scope and estimate the solution including project / resource estimates and key / required skills.
Assist with developing the business case for the solution.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Assist with developing and maintaining business process flows.
Translate functional specifications into technical requirements, detailed configuration design specifications and technical specifications as related to SAP.
Develop and maintain application and data flows.
Configure SAP based on the configuration and technical specifications.
Create and execute unit test scenarios for SAP.
Understanding of how user-exits, BADIs work.
Assist with creating and executing integration test scenarios.
Perform data loads.
Implement the solution by ensuring its change management into the production environment.
Identify and document ongoing maintenance requirements and procedures.
Forecast (as appropriate) and analyze system / integration defects and production requests / issues.
Resolve with business relevant solutions (Provide 3rd Level Production Support / Issue Resolution).
Provide after hours, weekend and on-call support.
Support the installation of SAP Service / Enhancement Packs.
Aptitude to research and report within Google and the SAP OSS Site for incident remediation or enhancement capabilities.
Clearly communicate technology issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective.
Maintain relationships with IT management and IT staff.
Maintain relationships with other Systems Analysts and Business Analysts representing Finance, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Operations, and Business Intelligence teams
Adhere to professional standards and ’s Administrative Policy Manual.
Expected percent of travel time (< 15%)
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Accounting, or other related field within IT or Accounting. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience designing, configuring, testing and delivering solutions within SAP; specifically, for Finance modules listed in the Job Summary.
A minimum of 5 SAP implementations or upgrades; Experience in a SAP production support role while also completing project work deliverables.
Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher.
Experience with SAP Master Data Governance for data controls of General Ledger accounts, Cost Center, and Profit Centers.
Experience with non-SAP applications for consolidations such as Hyperion, ORACLE FCC, Blackline, External exchange rates
Experience with multiple organizations who complete both Domestic (GAAP) and International that deal with multiple currencies for revaluation, translations leading to IFRS external reporting
Experience with SD configuration is a plus
Experience in configuring AP Automatic Payments and XML / IDOC / external files.
Demonstrated knowledge of systems design & development utilizing project management methodologies.
Ability to work effectively across and within diverse teams.
Excellent facilitation, verbal and written (formal and technical) communication skills with a good command of the English language.
Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, deliver quality results within standards and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Mature application/configuration testing methodology.
Experience using MS Office Suite including Excel, SharePoint, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
Prefer the following: experience in debugging programs for determination of root cause; experience with integration to banking entities for Treasury processes.
Experience within International Oil & Gas industries in multi companies and multi-currency environment.
