Responsibilities
- Analyze profitability of clinical research studies through multiple business service lines
- Participate in optimization of sophisticated enterprise resource planning information system
- Collaborate with Business Development and Operations personnel to learn the healthcare services, durable medical equipment, and clinical research industries to generate well-supported and insightful financial analysis
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a timely basis
- Support quarterly and annual budget creation across multiple companies
- Reconcile bank accounts and assist in monthly close process, booking of journal entries, AR and AP management, and creation of financial statements
- Assist with company's expense plans and monthly forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and financial policies
- Foster a climate that creates and evaluates best practice processes, structures, and systems
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, CPA, or CPA candidate
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Familiarity with project accounting is a plus
- NetSuite experience is a plus but not required
