Job Description
SUMMARY:
The role of the SCADA Analyst involves implementing and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, encompassing both hardware and software, to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety protocols. Collaborating within a team, they'll support various SCADA systems across multiple assets. This position reports directly to the SCADA Manager

Collaborating within a team, they'll support various SCADA systems across multiple assets. This position reports directly to the SCADA Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and uphold HMI/SCADA applications in line with departmental standards.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of SOP documentation related to assigned areas.
- Participate in system design, planning, and testing activities.
- Implement, maintain, and provide support for SCADA application systems.
- Investigate user-reported problems and determine optimal resolution methods.
- Install software updates for SCADA systems and maintain system security.
- Offer technical support for SCADA communication, including coordination with the Field IT team.
- Assist Operations in troubleshooting HMI/SCADA/automation issues.
- Coordinate with Facilities and Production Operations teams on Field and Plant HMI/SCADA requirements, projects, and standards.
- Provide rotating on-call support for SCADA systems company-wide.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience is necessary.
- Demonstrated expertise with automation hardware and server-based software.
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports, Field Data Gathering, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and Scripting Languages is advantageous.
- Experience with ACM, Kepware, or similar polling engines is desirable.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas Upstream Operations is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Customer-service orientation is essential.
- Comfortable working in both office and field operation environments.
- Travel may be required, up to 10%.
- MUST HAVE experience working with ClearSCADA / Geo SCADA expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Experience with MS SQL databases and MS server operating systems is advantageous.
- Experience with GeoSCADA and Wonderware is preferred
