ABOUT THE ROLE
This Tax Senior position plays a central role on engagement teams and serves as a key point of contact for both internal stakeholders and clients. The role supports a growing practice and offers strong opportunities for leadership development and career advancement within a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide tax compliance and tax consulting support across individual, corporate, and international tax areas
  • Work with tax provisions and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
  • Serve as the primary lead on tax engagements, including scheduling, staffing, and completion of returns
  • Conduct first-level technical reviews and perform research on technical tax matters
  • Manage internal and client deadlines and expectations
  • Develop and maintain client relationships as the main client contact
  • Gather tax information proactively and ensure timely responses to client questions
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and escalate issues as needed
  • Prepare and review quarterly estimates and year-end projections
  • Respond to IRS and state tax notices
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Tax Associates and Interns
  • Act as a project manager to support prioritization and timely completion of assigned work

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA eligible
  • Actively pursuing CPA license required
  • Active CPA license preferred
  • Two to three or more years of experience, preferably in public accounting
  • Proficiency in partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and/or individual taxation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform technical tax research, summarize findings, and communicate outcomes
  • Strong coaching and development skills with junior team members
  • Desire to give back to the community
