Our Client is seeking an experienced consulting Project Manager for a long-term contract with strong potential for conversion to full-time employment. This role leads cross-functional technology initiatives from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities, financial targets, and enterprise delivery standards. The position requires strong consulting instincts, disciplined delivery leadership, and the ability to effectively partner with both business and technology stakeholders. This is a hybrid role based in Irving, Texas. RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead complex, cross-functional technology projects and programs from requirements through implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery of expected outcomes
Provide executive-level communication and leadership updates, including progress, risks, mitigation strategies, financial impacts, and delivery confidence
Oversee project scope, schedule, financials, and resources, ensuring disciplined planning, forecasting, and adherence to approved budgets and timelines
Drive consistent execution by enforcing PMO delivery methodologies, best practices, and compliance with required processes and controls
Partner with business and technology leaders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure shared ownership of outcomes
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating when necessary to protect scope, schedule, or financial targets
Ensure financial integrity of projects, including cost tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and management of budget changes
Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making by clearly communicating impacts, trade-offs, and delivery options
Lead the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including workplans, business requirements, executive presentations, and status reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years or more experience in Agile project management or related roles.
PREFERRED Experience working with SAP/Finance projects
Professional certifications such as PMP or CSM preferred
Strong experience with project and program management concepts, including planning, reporting, and control techniques
Working knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies, and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage business and IT stakeholders at all levels
Results-oriented team player with the ability to drive value and implement strategic solutions
Demonstrated high level of integrity and professional ethics
Proven ability to manage three to six concurrent projects of varying complexity, scope, and priority
Track record of success using a collaborative and participative management style
Significant experience managing complex programs involving onshore and offshore teams across multiple vendors and internal stakeholders
Comfort and experience reporting to Program Steering Committees and interacting with executive leadership
