Growing Renewables energy organization in North Houston seeks experienced Project Accountant due to growth DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a fast growing company with strong benefits, opportunities to help create and refine processes and with room to grow seeks an experienced project accountant. This is a company that is doing acquisitions rapidly and needs help staying ahead of their growth. Responsibilities
• Own every aspect of setting up and maintaining a project in NetSuite, Suite Projects
module.
• Properly configure new projects in Suite Projects per project milestones (i.e. SOV-schedule
of values) as represented with the executed Customer agreements.
• Meet with the PM’s and lead Engineers to ensure project information entered into Suite Projects is accurate and complete.
Support Operations, specifically the PM’s-Project Managers and lead Engineers with their development of the project budgets for cost-to-cost based revenue recognition in a timely and accurate manner.
• Create the Customer invoices and submit for payment.
• Support the Company via meaningful participation with the implementation of NetSuite,
specifically the Suite Projects module.
• Account for and report project status per the executed SOV (i.e. project milestones).
• Utilize the functionality and reporting tools within Suite Projects to monitor and evaluate
project KPI’s-key performance indicators.
REQUIREMENTS:
BBA Finance or Accounting
2-5 years of Project Accounting experience
NetSuite experience helpful
Desire to work in a developing group and to help set up processes and best practices
Experience in working with operations
