ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support Advisors and clients through financial planning preparation, account servicing, operational support, and client relationship management. This is a non-prospecting role designed for a detail-oriented financial services professional who thrives in a collaborative and client-centered environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service and account-related needs
  • Prepare financial plans by gathering, reviewing, and organizing financial documents and information from clients
  • Identify planning opportunities and assist with developing recommendations
  • Coordinate account setup, transfers, and financial plan implementation activities
  • Facilitate a smooth and professional client onboarding experience
  • Track outstanding items and follow through on action steps to support a seamless client experience
  • Provide ongoing service and operational support to Advisors and clients
  • Process account transactions, distributions, and maintenance requests as requested
  • Prepare account and financial plan updates for client meetings and follow up on action items as necessary
  • Respond to client inquiries related to service, operations, and planning
  • Maintain accurate client records and account information within CRM system
  • Perform other service-related or operational duties to assist the management team as required
  • This is a non-prospecting role
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics preferred
  • Series 65 license or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paraplanner within the financial services industry required
  • Familiarity with financial service concepts including investments, retirement accounts, annuities, and insurance
  • Experience with Advyzon or other CRM systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and overall comfort using technology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working within a Registered Investment Advisor environment
  • Knowledge of financial planning strategies and wealth management concepts
  • Experience supporting Advisors with financial plan implementation and client servicing activities
