Our client, a leading player in the energy commodity trading industry, specializing in the trading of various energy products. Headquartered in New York with locations worldwide including London is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Orchestrade energy systems to join their London team.
Position Overview:
As a Business Analyst specializing in Orchestrade energy systems, you will play a crucial role in the setup and configuration of Orchestrade, a comprehensive energy trading and risk management system. Your responsibilities will include training commercial users, assisting in project management activities, and collaborating closely with both internal project management teams and Orchestrade project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Orchestrade Setup and Configuration:
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Orchestrade to set up and configure the system according to the specific needs and requirements of our energy commodity trading operations.
Ensure seamless integration of Orchestrade within our existing infrastructure, optimizing functionality and performance.
User Training:
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for commercial users to maximize their proficiency in utilizing Orchestrade.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during daily operations.
Project Management Assistance:
Collaborate with internal project management teams to assist in planning, executing, and monitoring Orchestrade-related projects.
Work closely with Orchestrade project managers to ensure alignment with project timelines, milestones, and objectives.
Requirements Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements, ensuring that Orchestrade is configured to meet the specific needs of our energy commodity trading activities.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations based on user feedback and industry best practices.
Communication and Collaboration:
Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, Orchestrade project managers, and external stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and successful implementation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Orchestrade energy systems.
Strong understanding of energy commodity trading processes and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
