Job Summary:
As a Network Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in building and optimizing network infrastructure. You will work with a variety of technologies, including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls, ensuring seamless performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Configure: Create, install, and configure network server systems and hardware.
  • Monitor & Optimize: Maintain and support networked software and operating systems for peak performance.
  • Network Development: Design, build, and install internal and external networks.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform remedial maintenance on file servers and network devices, ensuring stability.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Identify and implement cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Assist in vendor comparisons and planning for large-scale system projects.
  • Risk Management: Work with IT security teams to mitigate business risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant, progressive professional experience.
  • Experience with Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) required.
  • Strong understanding of Internet/Intranet technologies, including security, switching, routing, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, legal updates, and technical developments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
