SUMMARY:
A global energy commodity markets firm is seeking a Head of Development with hands on technical experience developing Risk and Trading Systems.
DESCRIPTION:
Streamline development process. Institute proper SDLC guidelines, CI/CD, code reviews etc.
Streamline and improve EOD process and institute a scalable support model (Taking a close look at our Beacon infra and owning this is part of this responsibility)
Champion architecting a SOA architecture that can support real time position, risk, and P&L reporting.
Help develop a rich UI framework which will allow us to build modern, high-performance screens.
Guide in the migration to a new global ETRM system
REQUIRMENTS:
A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
15+ years’ demonstrable experience working independently and, in a team, in an agile development environment
5+ years managing a minimum of 5 senior developers
Full stack development experience
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Database (MySQL, Postgres), Python, AWS, Data warehouse
Experience working in energy commodity trading company.
