ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the accounting team and plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s continued growth. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and partnering with operations to support informed decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Controller, the Senior Accountant will contribute across core accounting functions with a strong emphasis on inventory and manufacturing-related accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures
  • Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer and vendor billing processes
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels including cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Support external audits by preparing documentation and providing explanations
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Partner with operations to analyze and control production and manufacturing costs

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability and integrity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a middle-market industrial, manufacturing, or service environment
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • CPA or CPA candidate
