ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of complex accounting areas across multiple functions. This is a high-impact role requiring strong judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate beyond routine processing in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the full lifecycle of fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations
Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple entities
Oversee and support accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting activities
Analyze and account for freight and logistics expenses ensuring accurate classification and cost allocation
Maintain compliance with lease accounting standards under ASC 842 including lease schedules and journal entries
Evaluate and apply revenue recognition principles under ASC 606 to complex transactions
Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support audit requests and ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and defensible
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP with emphasis on fixed assets, lease accounting, and revenue recognition
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a multi-entity or intercompany environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Comfortable operating in a role with broad and evolving responsibilities
