SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst based in Texas to join our team, working on integration and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FinTech, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a proven track record of collaborating with clients to translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications. This is a remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with end clients to gather and document technical and business requirements for integration or digital transformation initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and the business, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of project goals.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
- Analyze and document current business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
- Contribute to the creation of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high-quality output.
- Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in the FinTech space, to provide strategic insights during the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst, ideally in integration or digital transformation projects.
- Preferred experience in the FinTech industry, with a strong understanding of financial services and related technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in gathering technical requirements, developing functional specifications, and facilitating smooth hand-offs to development teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing time and priorities while maintaining close collaboration with teams.
- Must be comfortable working in Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
- Experience with Agile or similar project management methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with cloud platforms and system integration tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
