Role Summary:
The Manager, Financial Reporting role is responsible for preparing and managing consolidations and internal reporting for a multi-billion energy company.

Role Summary:
The Manager, Financial Reporting role is responsible for preparing and managing consolidations and internal reporting for a multi-billion energy company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Financial Preparation. Preparing internal monthly consolidated financial package, including preparing consolidated variance explanations
- Internal Communication. Working and communicating with various internal groups to compile data, including general accounting, budgeting, and financial planning, and acting as a resource to solving finance related issues.
- Sarbanes-Oxley. Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal requirements within the Financial Reporting Department.
- Process Improvements. Identifying process improvements, implementing changes, and ensuring best practices.
- Consolidated Software Package Evaluation. Assisting with the evaluation of consolidated software package, participating with selection of software, and serving as the key person for implementation
- And other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related discipline required.
- CPA
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, with experience in consolidations and internal reporting.
- Oil and Gas or related industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
- Strong managerial skills – development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including strong written and oral communication skills.
