SUMMARY:
Our  Houston based energy services client seeks an experienced, but Junior Financial Analyst for a possible rotation to other groups and business units! 

DESCRIPTION:

Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
 

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures

  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

  • Support Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Operating Plan process

  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis for executive and C-suite team

  • Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports

  • Work with Hyperion, Oracle, SAP and other Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 1+ year of relevant experience in industry, Big 4 assurance or Big 4 advisory

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of Oracle finance system capabilities helpful

  • Financial Reporting Tools (Hyperion, HFM, DPLAN, Longview)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized

  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated

  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members

  • Experience in the oil and gas, oilfield services or chemicals industry desirable

  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis.

  • Assist with preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
