Job Description


This role will be onsite in Houston office and temp for 6-12 months with the intention of hiring direct.  

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Data Management Associate with a flair for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail. This role provides essential support to the Data Management & Strategy team, contributing to data analysis, creating compelling presentations, organizing team meetings, and coordinating various team projects. The ideal candidate will possess advanced PowerPoint skills, project coordination expertise, and a marketing mindset to present data and insights in engaging, impactful ways. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational data management skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. PowerPoint Presentation Development
  • Design and produce high-quality, visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate data insights and strategic narratives.
  • Utilize advanced PowerPoint features such as animations, charts, and infographics to ensure presentations are clear, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Continuously enhance templates and materials to maintain consistency and visual impact.

2. Data Meeting Coordination and Organization
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, managing action items, and taking minutes.
  • Support team preparations for presentations, client meetings, and internal reviews, ensuring all required materials and data are available.
  • Track and follow up on meeting deliverables, ensuring timely completion and accountability.

3. Data Management Support
  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data for reporting and analytics purposes.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across projects, ensuring organized and accessible data.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to support data preparation for analysis and reporting.

4. Team Coordination
  • Coordinate tasks, project timelines, and documentation for the Data Management team.
  • Maintain organizational systems to streamline workflows, track project statuses, and facilitate team communication.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support as needed, promoting cross-functional collaboration.

5. Creative and Marketing Support
  • Develop data literacy and fluency materials that present data in a visually appealing and accessible manner for non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to creating dashboards, infographics, and other visual tools to effectively convey data insights.
  • Apply a creative, audience-centric approach to data presentations, emphasizing user experience.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Management, Communications, or a related field.

Experience
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in data management, marketing, or an analytical support function.

Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including design, layout, animations, and template use.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Qlik or Power BI is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong formatting and data organization capabilities.

Soft Skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of creating clear documentation and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
