ABOUT THE ROLE
The Monitor Recovery Representative plays a key role in ensuring that patients return company equipment in a timely manner and that all patient interactions are handled efficiently and professionally. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset to maintain smooth equipment recovery operations and a positive patient experience.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Make outbound calls to patients to retrieve company equipment
  • Receive and manage inbound calls related to due date procedures
  • Perform Due Date, 7-day, 15-day, and 30-day audits to ensure timely recovery of company equipment
  • Generate and send recovery letters and request invoices through the billing department
  • Understand and follow up on patient inquiries, requests, or complaints with professionalism
  • Provide knowledgeable, efficient, and cheerful service to all patients and internal customers
  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers, sharing relevant information and best practices
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment by aligning actions with company goals and values
  • Handle escalated calls appropriately and direct issues to supervisors when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and internal teams
  • Experience operating a multi-line telephone system
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Professional and courteous phone manner
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to work between 7am and 7pm based on patient needs
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls and multitask effectively
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual communication skills (a plus)
  • Experience in healthcare or medical device recovery preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM or call management software
