ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking a hands-on Controller to join the management team and lead the organization’s accounting and financial operations. This role will serve as a strategic partner to executive and operations leadership while maintaining deep involvement in day-to-day accounting details. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, business acumen, and a fiduciary mindset to support disciplined growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all general accounting, financial accounting, and financial reporting activities
Lead all management reporting activities
Assist with Treasury and Cash Management functions
Support the annual budget process and all monthly financial planning and analysis activities
Ensure oversight of all accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
Support the annual external audit process
Partner closely with Executive and Operations leaders to drive efficient and effective organic growth initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong accounting and finance technical proficiency with exceptional attention to detail
Strong business acumen and operational awareness
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead others and build strong relationships
Fiduciary mindset with high ethical standards
Strong project management capabilities
Hands-on leadership style with comfort operating in the details
Certified Public Accountant designation strongly preferred
Big 4 audit experience followed by industry accounting leadership experience preferred
