Job Description
A global company based in Houston is seeking a Contracts Administrator ideally with Epicor System experience for a direct hire role.in a hybrid schedule, 3 days in office.
DESCRIPTION:
Promote and optimize the Company’s sourcing and Contract Management processes aiming to reduce costs and increase value with suppliers. This will be achieved by developing internal capacity through training and development, strategic sourcing plans o
• Facilitate company wide RFI/RFQ/RFP process
• Material sourcing/estimating/quoting for engineered projects
• Data mine and seek out, evaluate, and propose potential new suppliers, and coordinate with key decision makers in Engineering, Sales, Production, Procurement, etc.
• Vet new potential suppliers. Ensure compliance with DQ requirements, standards, and quality controls.
• Conduct supplier analysis evaluate potential suppliers, and with minimal supervision coordinate the overall supplier qualification process.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support overall business goals and provide the Company with a competitive advantage
• Execution of QBR’s of supplier performance (KPI), including quality, delivery, service, and cost.
• Vendor Management/ review and maintain key suppliers.
• Maintain and update agreements -- review best strategies moving forward.
• Evaluate and recommend purchasing and sourcing decisions to management.
• Maintain preferred sources/suppliers within ERP software
• Assist in development, review, and maintenance of processes, procedures, and guidelines to improve those currently used within DQ.
• Others as needed/required within DQ teams.
