Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level GIS Data Editor to join our client's team in Allentown, PA. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in GIS who are looking to gain hands-on experience in data editing and mapping within an enterprise environment. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating orders in the GIS system, handling ad-hoc mapping requests, and assisting with modifications to pipelines and flowcharts in JDE. This position provides essential support to our team, ensuring that more advanced work can be completed efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Review and update GIS data based on order modifications in JDE.
Ensure changes in pipeline flow and GIS mapping are accurately reflected.
Handle ad-hoc mapping requests and provide GIS support as needed.
Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and free up capacity for advanced work.
Participate in training and ramp-up sessions to familiarize with workflows and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related field (preferred).
1+ year of experience working in a GIS environment.
Experience in the pipeline industry is not required but is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze spatial data.
Proficiency in GIS software and data management tools.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Allentown, PA.
