You will focus on defect management and resolution working with marketing and technology teams as the client scales their marketing and multiple brands over the next several years. A key ability to stay in the details and ensure technology delivery will ensure your success.
Responsibilities:
Defect Management:
- Lead the production defect process, ensuring timely resolution of issues reported in production.
- Document and categorize defects, including severity levels and the platforms likely causing the issues.
- Track long-running defects, escalating them as needed to ensure resolution.
- Manage initial defect triage, creating incidents (e.g., 403 errors during TEE enrollment).
- Collaborate with the marketing team for identifying defects, but take the lead on triaging, investigating, logging, and tracking them toward resolution.
- Coordinate with marketing to utilize Quantum Metric sessions for examples of issues, without determining the root cause or quantity of defects.
- Oversee post-production deployment validations, ensuring issues are resolved before closing or re-opening defects as necessary.
- Summarize defects for weekly releases and monthly reports, highlighting completed validations and the status of issues.
- Support agile processes, including project timeline planning and backlog management.
- Organize and lead backlog grooming sessions to prioritize tasks and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Assist in developing UAT plans and gathering requirements for various projects.
- Lead mini-Big Room Planning sessions and facilitate discussions for efficient planning.
- Track and share sprint progress, including burn-down charts and velocity metrics.
- Monitor stories moving across sprints, ensuring scope is managed and completed effectively.
- Address incomplete tasks, where too many points remain in a sprint (e.g., 300 points planned, but only 125 completed). Ensure follow-up actions to prevent rollover.
- Provide follow-ups for unresolved backlog items, working with the business team on next steps, estimates, and spikes.
- Assist in requirements gathering, working with cross-functional teams to create detailed project plans.
- Map out detailed requirements for new functionalities, such as integrating email as a user name.
- Identify edge cases and document "if-then" scenarios to address potential issues (e.g., UI concerns when using the same address for residential and business accounts).
- Support RAID log input, collaborating with teams to finalize requirements for large projects and migrations.
- Experience with marketing technologies and project management tools is essential, including the ability to analyze and present complex data to various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Sitecore, Quantum Metric, and Service Now is highly beneficial.
