Job Description

Our North E&P client company is seeking an AP Analyst on a project basis to handle high level AP functions.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Process check requests
Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
Communicate with vendors and/or internal clients to resolve problems and answer questions
Properly review and code invoices based on G/L and other file considerations
Record G/L adjustments and corrections
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Audit and process expense reports and credit card bills
Manage and insert journal entries
Review payment history and process fulfillment payments
Cash reconciliation and management
Analysis of AP accounts
Assist in month-end closing
1099 maintenance
Assist with other projects as needed
