Our client, a growing, lower middle market Private Equity backed manufacturing and distribution company, is located in Grand Prairie, Texas, and they seek an Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting team. This role will be a part of the team that provides all of the general accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis support of the organization. The group also supports the CFO's efforts to lead a very diverse group of corporate functions including but not limited to HR, Insurance and Benefits, Payroll, Inventory, Contracts, Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving, so you could gain experience beyond accounting and finance. Key Attributes:
  • Requires an Accounting degree. One year of experience in accounting is preferred but not required.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have a strong business acumen.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and a strong ability to develop relationships.
  • Must have a fiduciary mindset.
  • Must have strong project management skills. 
  • A team player attitude and a collaborative style and strong work ethic are required.   
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Will engage in general accounting, financial accounting, and financial reporting activities. 
  • Will support the CFO and team in preparing all PE, Management, and Board Reporting.
  • Will support the CFO and team with the annual Budget as well as all monthly Financial Analysis and Planning activities. 
  • Will support the State Sales Tax compliance process.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage, or Dynamics is a plus. 
  • Must be a self-starter who loves to learn new things.
