We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Your primary focus will be on setting up CI/CD pipelines, deploying remote cloud development environments using tools like Coder, and ensuring seamless integration between various systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS services, particularly Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and Python coding.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our cloud-based applications, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of code changes.
  2. Deploy and manage remote cloud development environments using tools such as Coder, providing developers with a streamlined and secure coding environment.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability on AWS infrastructure.
  4. Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/ECS to support microservices architecture.
  5. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  6. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.
  7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in adopting best practices and achieving team objectives.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  3. Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  4. Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes/ECS.
  5. Strong programming skills in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
  6. Solid understanding of networking, security, and scalability principles in cloud environments.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  8. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
