ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you will lead IT projects within a backend Agile tower, guiding teams through the Agile process to ensure alignment with goals, timely delivery, and quality outcomes. You will partner with cross-functional teams including developers, QA specialists, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to drive successful execution of critical projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocations
Monitor project progress and provide updates, risk assessments, and issue resolution strategies
Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to manage and prioritize the product backlog
Identify and remove impediments or escalate as needed to maintain momentum
Coordinate with other Agile towers to manage dependencies and ensure alignment across initiatives
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support project success
Develop knowledge of the retail energy industry and understand the impact of regulatory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience managing IT projects with a focus on software development or backend systems
3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Proficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Microsoft Project
