SUMMARY:
NW Houston Senior FP&A candidate sought for services company that is PE backed and growing! This is an in office role, full time in Houston.
DESCRIPTION:
Our fabulous client is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and engaged Senior FP&A Analyst to join their growing company and finance team. This position will partner with all aspects of the business and own areas such as reporting, budgeting, and variance analyses across the business. Further, this high-visibility role will lead cross-functional projects, need to communicate effectively and efficiently, and be excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Our company is rapidly growing and needs strong support to shape the company’s financial strategy.
Role Responsibilities
• Play integral role in management of the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes for all operations, including management and bank reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Provide management with consistent reporting and insights into company results on a timely basis
• Perform deep-dive analysis and collaborate with leadership to drive efficiency
• Consume metrics and analyze business results to drive full understanding of organization, industry, and regional performance
• Assist in utilization and adoption of BI tool and effective utilization of data across organization
• Build a partnership and collaborate with the accounting team to provide support and guidance on financial reporting, along with aligning data structures for efficient period reporting
• Create and maintain / improve existing reporting decks and dashboards
Requirements
• 2 - 5+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A and modeling, preferably with private-equity experience or in management consulting or public accounting.
• Skilled in developing efficient and scalable processes for an entire company and its entities
• Ability to plan and meet aggressive timelines when necessary
• A self-starter with the ability to thrive in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
• A proven ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
Preferred Skillsets and Experience
• Exceptional Excel modeling and presentational skills
• High standards of accuracy and organization
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally
• Skilled in developing efficient and scalable processes
